Services

An Extra Set of Hands provides a wide range of services that are each personalized to your individual situation. We sit down with you and listen to what you would find helpful, and then let you know how we are able to help.

There are a few things that we are not able to provide at this time:

No lifting adults
No feeding adults
No changing adult diapers/showering adults

**This is not a personal support worker (PSW) service.We do not provide medical assistance**

Things we have done in the past include:

Grocery shopping (with clients or for clients)
Checking in on loved ones
Socializing over tea/coffee or ice cream/going for a country drive
Light cleaning
Light meal preparation
Pick up/drop off dry cleaning
Folding laundry
Helping parents/caregivers adjust to having a newborn baby by running errands or completing tasks around the house
Respite for caregivers caring for people with Dementia/Alzheimer's or people who are aging in general
House sitting
Returning items to stores
Picking up flowers
Watering the garden/plants
Unloading the dishwasher/emptying the garbages
Going on a walk with someone
